My first Lush product ever. It's difficult to find Lush products here, or anywhere for that matter. It is not a beauty brand many know despite it's acclaim and recent mainstream success. I wanted to try to it out for such a long time but only now have I managed to get my hands on a few!
The Lush BB Seaweed Mask is a soothing and smoothing mask made with all-natural and vegan ingredients. Lush is famous for being one of the most prominent vegan beauty brands. It always acknowledging this at every moment's notice. I have to say, Lush creates a great name for itself. Both as a company and as a manufacturer.

It seems every blogger has this book, usually Kindle edition. Left and right, everyone praises the book. Perhaps it is in part of the author; Sophia Amoruso. CEO and Founder of Nasty Gal, and #GIRLBOSS (Yes, the hashtag and all caps are necessary).
The best way to describe #GIRLBOSS is that it is part-memoir, part-self-help, part feminism book. It shows her from the anti-capitalist who couldn't hold a job for two weeks to the CEO of the fastest growing online retailer. How she manages to take her tiny e-bay shop to a powerhouse name can be found in this book weaved with business tips and funny anecdotes.
Oh yay! I've never been nominated for a Blogger Award before! This is amazing, just exhilarating. Thank you, Roxanne from the Awkward Turtle and Shaira from Shaira Manalo for nominating me. It is such an honor.
Here are seven things you may want to know about me but don't necessarily need to:
1. My Mug Collection | A venture of mine is buying adorable mugs for me to sip on idly. A recent addition to my collection is a black and white mug with Coffee written in bold, black letters I bought for just $1.85.
2. Odd Jobs | I work as a freelance makeup-artist and actor mostly however I have also been a vendor, model and recently, played Elsa for a little girl's birthday party then went to the Mall and an outbreak ensued. Suffice to say, I was a hit.
3. Bash: Violinist | I played the violin for over 8 years, when I stopped at 11 due to exams. I just never picked it up since. Perhaps I will try playing it again one day.
4. Learning French | My parents put me in French lessons when I was eight. I loved it but then the tuition place moved and I couldn't go anymore. Now, I only remember the basic phrases and the numbers until twelve.
5. Future Law Student | After A Levels, I plan on furthering my studies as a Law student in the UK. I don't want to to jinx it so I'm working hard to make sure that dream succeeds.
6. Young Feminist | I was feminist before I knew what feminism was. I wanted to be seen as a girl but equal to the boys, play with dolls but run and fight during play time. In that sense, I was pretty damn cool.
7. Writer's Block | One day, I want to publish a novel. It's been a goal of mine since I could remember. The problem is I never end any stories, the folder full of unfinished documents is proof.
In support of International Women's Day, many women have come out with a letter to their younger selves. This is to give advice to their past self and genuinely support themselves at the young age when they were still figuring everything out. And hopefully, give young girls advice as well. I think this is beautiful, showing the difference as we were and as we are.
While this is mostly created by adult women speaking to their teenage self, I am a teenage speaking much younger selves. Things I wish I had known, and should have knew. So here is mine.

It's so strange to talk about makeup in public nowadays. You can't say, 'Oh, have you tried Better Than Sex yet?' or 'NARS' Orgasm looks great on you!' without getting more than a few weird looks. So whenever I praise this Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation, strangers tend to furrow their brows and look at me disapprovingly.
It doesn't matter though. Because I do love Naked Skin.

I was absurdly tired this morning. I slept late due to a high dose of caffeine at ten o'clock, and woke up too early to finish a few blog stuff and to prepare for Model UN. You can see the bags under my vacant stare if you look closely. Though it shouldn't be surprising, I am seventeen after all. The last year of adolescent should be spent staying up and partying. However, my definition of partying is staying home with an 8tracks tab open and making plans.
Sounds perfect to me.
In other news, my favourite boots' faux leather is beginning to scuff and tear. It's not terrible but it's noticeable. Do you have any clue how to fix the scuffing?
