It's been a long time since I brought a few products. I spent most of spending money on yarn and food. However, I did pick up some makeup products on my way to celebrate my sister's O Level results a week. Nothing of particular interest, just those that took my eye.  These are all Essence and Catrice products because I went to only one store and I could trust their products as cheap but high-quality (most of the time)

It isn't Valentine's Day because romantic relationship between two human beings should not be dictated by one commercial holiday created as an excuse to sell novelty chocolate. With that said, if anyone would provide me chocolate, I'd be happy to receive.

So for Single Awareness' Day, I made a tutorial inspired by all the pink surrounding us. This eye look is great for every occasion whether for a date on SAD or you just want to feel cute that day. It's simple, sweet and says: 'Hey sweetheart, I took too much time blending for you.'

Fangirl had been sitting on my shelf for almost year before I picked it up to read. I had low expectations for this book despite the praise from almost everyone on the internet. Rainbow Rowell's much-acclaimed Eleanor & Park was disappointing in my opinion. So I wasn't exactly looking forward to reading Fangirl. My initial thoughts were that Fangirl would be a filler book to pass the time (much like Eleanor & Park). Thankfully, I was happily surprised.

On a usual day, I read, knit and drink tea. This routine has kept me sane throughout life and I don't intend on stopping. After all, it does provide me some great hand-knitted things like this over-sized hipster hat.
