Perhaps I am a sucker for pretty things that makes things prettier. Perhaps I'm conforming to the style of Instagram babes and YouTube personalities. Perhaps I just want to look nice.
I've been starting to use false eyelashes more often. For everyday wear when I want to feel pretty without going too overboard. You can argue that wearing eyelashes is already too much. I thought that too. Then I put on E.Asbellah False Eyelashes* and life changed.
I truly am a sucker for pretty things that makes things prettier.

I am none of those things.
I can say it with complete and utter confidence. The most badass thing about me is my literal bad ass. So bad it hurts, figuratively. I am not bold, not ballsy and definitely not a badass. Haus of Jimmy R* makes me want to be though.
Based in Brunei but with a world class eye, Haus of Jimmy R provides amazing designs for all. Handcrafted statement jewellery galore, Haus of Jimmy R's pieces almost speak with their own personalities. Ones that cater to their badasses and the wannabes like me.
I don't wear a lot of accessories. Usually, it's just my wristwatch and perhaps a necklace if I'm feeling fancy. As the year goes on, I found myself looking into more accessories to pair with my clothes. The curse of becoming a fashion victim. Finding excuses to buy pretty products.
Though, I wanted classic and elegant designs. Nothing bold or extravagant, but timeless pieces were hard to find. That's where Eve and Rosie* comes in.
From rings to bracelets to necklaces, they have such a great selection for girls like me. Broke but still finding ways to look cute. Based in Brunei, they were so kind to send some gorgeous pieces to review.

I've collected a handful of Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipsticks to review, dating back from my first haul in June. I don't like to review products of any kind unless I feel like I've used them enough. Suffice to say, a year is a good amount of time to use products.
Just like its sister brand Essence, Catrice is a hit-or-miss brand. Their mascaras are a dream but their eyeliners are crap. Their foundations are amazing but their concealers are horrid. They are either the best or the worst products on a budget. Their lipsticks are no different.
Thank goodness, their Ultimate Colour collection is fantastic.

My first Lush product ever. It's difficult to find Lush products here, or anywhere for that matter. It is not a beauty brand many know despite it's acclaim and recent mainstream success. I wanted to try to it out for such a long time but only now have I managed to get my hands on a few!
The Lush BB Seaweed Mask is a soothing and smoothing mask made with all-natural and vegan ingredients. Lush is famous for being one of the most prominent vegan beauty brands. It always acknowledging this at every moment's notice. I have to say, Lush creates a great name for itself. Both as a company and as a manufacturer.

It's so strange to talk about makeup in public nowadays. You can't say, 'Oh, have you tried Better Than Sex yet?' or 'NARS' Orgasm looks great on you!' without getting more than a few weird looks. So whenever I praise this Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation, strangers tend to furrow their brows and look at me disapprovingly.
It doesn't matter though. Because I do love Naked Skin.
