I feel it underneath sickly skin, sending shivers down my spine. The sun hides my disdain, so I lavish in its warmth some more. Begging the sun shall never set but knowing night will fall. I strap my boots tight, tall and sharp. I ready my armour, painted leather and green.
I kiss my lovers goodbye, that I pray to see again. Then march into battle, to wage war against no one.
So I will be yours.
Your champion. Your soldier. Your warrior.
I have won no wars but with wars I have no one. I have bitten down tendrils and a hero's grin white as ivory chained in cages. I will not hide my wrists because they fear wounds. Let my anemic viscerals pour from opened wrists so light may spill and soak upon fingers.

Going commando today, all for the sake of green lipstick.
It feels like ages since I've done an OOTD. Something I'm surprised I miss. So I wanted to go bold after months of nudes and pinks. And what is as audacious as ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips' Dr. M? A dark teal-green, perfect to scare boys and smudge after lunch.
Thus I made an outfit to surround the green lipstick. Which turned into an overall soldier-esque look. Taking out my H&M Leather Jacket that I haven't worn recently, and Green Shawl from Lyy's Closet paired nicely together. I picked up H&M Camouflage Shirt and Uniqlo Khaki Pants from the last Clothing Haul.
Then I was set, looking as if I was ready for war. Figuratively-speaking, of course.
