It was never my colour, but it suits you well.
Your emerald skin glistening when we meet. I see your false smile and respond with my own. We hold our grudges in our handshakes. We do not resent. We do not hate. We do not brawl. Yet I see the venom dripping down your lips. Words biting but always failing.
You are not my rival. You are an annoyance.
Green looks good on you. Matches the envy in your eyes.

A fault of my lacking colour scheme, than any grievance against the shade. So when I received Damalee Signatures' Azreenville Green Trousers, it added colour I lost. Delicately sown and folded. Once my mother sown it to fit my waist, I readied an outfit.
I rarely wear green. So I tossed blouses and tops over my bed, unsure what looked good with green. Until I found a match in a Basic Black Uniqlo Shirt and an Ummi Najji Sleeveless Long Cardigan, also from Damalee Signatures. Creams and blacks never fail me.
Perhaps I should start wearing more green. Matches the jealousy we share.
What colours do you rarely wear?
