A universal phrase to mean 'we'll say we will go to that new cafe together but never will.'

Bruneians have a mutual love for appetizing food and obsession with new endeavors. Not a criticism, just an observation. I notice whilst typing away at the fifth cafe-restaurant hybrid to open this year.

The new cafe filled with young adults, happy to discuss life over steaming plates. This is just one place out of many, people seem to visit. No longer is there just Coffee Bean or Starbucks. Brunei, as Brunei sees fit, make their own culture. It is the new Cafe Culture. Aptly titled.

Now chains of ever-growing and ever-popular places pop up to serve. But with that, continues the rise of pollution. Note the non-biodegradable plastics and foam littering the streets. Hence why I started using KeepCup*

KeepCup is an Australian brand, creating reusable cups to encourage an eco-friendly lifestyle. It is to help the busy bees in the 'go-to' environment. I picture a stressed out lady in a suit, rushing to get the morning brew. An overachiever's dream. This cup continues this lifestyle whilst also promoting an eco-friendly living.

An intriguing idea, I thought when I received my own KeepCup a few weeks ago.

KeepCup comes in three sizes; 8 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz with different designs for anyone's liking. The little 8oz cup was perfect for me. A basic blue. BPA Free and made with safe plastics, its compact design made it easy to carry. And with its removable rubber band around, it keeps its contents warm and simple to wash.

Perhaps that is why I find this Cup so great. It's simple. A simple step for a big impact.

I brought it along with me for the week. Carrying it when I had errands to run. It even sneaked into my last OOTD after the long day. What surprised me the most was how effective it was to implement in my daily routine.

Coffee in the morning, coffee in the noon and coffee at night. Three shots of caffeine for me, no matter where I am. So when I rush through my day, stopping for my caffeine fix at the latest cafe, I make sure I use KeepCup.

The easiest way to be an Eco-Friendly Coffee Addict.

Hopefully, perhaps Brunei can start living a stronger conscious lifestyle. Whilst still being involved in this Cafe Culture. Just removing non-biodegradable plastics and styrofoam with it. Reusing is better than recycling anyway.
