And I couldn't be happier.

You left me stained with black soot. Since I touched your heart, its mess invaded my bones. Defiled my frame with smears of you. So I scrubbed the rotten skin till it bled red. Soaked myself in oils and prayed you disappeared. Your scars still remained, etched into my flesh as marks I never desired.

In desperation, I stepped into a storm to drown. Grey fog enclosed my being. The deluge of cold pools came pouring down. Drenched in clear rain but frozen in heat.  I crawled out in white and blue, not a spot left of you.

I think I am finally clean.

I enjoy pairing white and blue together. It's clean.

They are subtle lovers, hidden in plain sight. It calms me to see them together.  While I know I will return to black, I pick up these tones when I need to find peace. Black is beautiful but harsh in its temptations. Hence why I feel it works best alone. 

In contrast, the white and blue combination entices with simple charm. Pairing Modressty's Raisyaa Denim and Mumtaz Collections' Snow White Shawl was inevitable. The amalgamation does not beg to be seen, but it will be remembered.

Hence why Hey Bash's aesthetics lean to the cooler tones. Go figure.
