Happy Singles Awareness' Day!

(A week too late)

It isn't Valentine's Day because romantic relationship between two human beings should not be dictated by one commercial holiday created as an excuse to sell novelty chocolate. With that said, if anyone would provide me chocolate, I'd be happy to receive.

So for Single Awareness' Day, I made a tutorial inspired by all the pink surrounding us. This eye look is great for every occasion whether for a date on SAD or you just want to feel cute that day. It's simple, sweet and says: 'Hey sweetheart, I took too much time blending for you.'

Anyway, here is the tutorial!

  1. Apply a neutral base that matches your natural shade
  2. Pat a pale pastel pink shade on two-thirds of the outer corner
  3. Taking a cool brown, blend it into the crease until middle of the eye socket
  4. With an angled brush, create a V-shape using a dark brown shadow
  5. Blend thoroughly until desired
  6. With a darker brown shadow, brush it along the outer corner of the eye
  7. Blend, blend, blend
  8. Re-apply the pale pastel pink shade before, you probably lost some colour
  9. Add a highlight on the inner corner
  10. After tightlining with a brown pencil liner, line just one-third of the waterline
  11. Use a black eyeshadow to line the eye, keep it tight and small
  12. Optional apply individual lashes
  13. Mascara!
  14. And you're done!
This makeup look requires little to no skill. Just know how to blend, and you will be done within an appropriate amount of time. The soft pink shade is subtle but brings youth and playfulness to the eyes. I paired it with a matching blush and a nude lipstick, then stayed home I watched TV.

So what makeup look would you like to see? I'd love to know!
